Azithromycin extended-release suspension is used to treat certain bacterial infections (including sinusitis, pneumonia). Unnecessary use or misuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness. This medication will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking azithromycin and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Take this medication by mouth on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal). For adults, take this medication as directed by your doctor, usually the whole bottle all at once as a single dose. For children, the dose is based on your child's weight. Carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon. Each 5 ml prepared suspension contains 204.8 mg azithromycin monohydrate equivalent to 200 mg azithromycin. Each 1 ml prepared suspension contains 40.96 mg azithromycin monohydrate equivalent to 40 mg azithromycin. Excipients with known effect: • Sucrose 3.70 g/ 5 ml • Aspartame (E951) 0.030 g/ 5 ml • Sodium 7.739 mg (0.336 mmol) /5 ml For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1. Azithromycin powder for oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of the following infections, when caused by micro-organisms sensitive to azithromycin (see section 4.4 and 5.1): - acute bacterial sinusitis (adequately diagnosed) - acute bacterial otitis media (adequately diagnosed) - pharyngitis, tonsillitis - acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (adequately diagnosed) - mild to moderately severe community acquired pneumonia - skin and soft tissue infections - uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis Considerations should be given to official guidance on the appropriate use of antibacterial agents. Adults In uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis, the dose is 1,000 mg in one single oral dose. For all other indications the dose is 1,500 mg, to be administered as 500 mg per day for three consecutive days. Alternatively the same total dose (1,500 mg) can also be given over a period of 5 days with 500 mg on the first day and then 250 mg on days 2 to 5.

Azithromycin 200 mg/ 5 ml Powder for Oral Suspension. The total dose in children aged 1 year and older is 30 mg/kg administered as 10 mg/kg once daily for. Zmax extended release oral suspension 2 grams azithromycin should be taken as a single dose at least 1 hour before or 2 hours following a meal. If a patient vomits within 5 minutes of the dose, the manufacturer recommends additional antibiotic treatment due to minimal absorption of the azithromycin dose. Zithromax azithromycin is an antibiotic commonly used in children to treat bacterial infections, such as ear and sinus infections. Often prescribed in pill form, it can also be delivered in a liquid formulation for children who don't like pills.

The contents of this page have been copied to Talk: List_of_drugs. I (User: Matt Kingston) am in the process of creating a list of drugs and their various names. The list will be alphabetical and will use the following format (subject to change if better suggestions are put forward). All items in the list will follow the general format: ===Name of drug=== *Will be capitalized if it is a trade name (brand name) or uncapitalized if it is a generic name. *Two trade names that are nearly identical (eg Adalat PA and Adalat XL) need not have separate entries unless there is a particular reason for doing so. *Names will be listed alphabetically and broken into an appropriate number of pages (with 200-500??? items per page) Peg-Intron is the correct spelling that you have listed as Pegetron for pegylated interferaon alfa2b made by schering plough and marketed in the US for HCV (This list is an example only and may not be accurate.) 1,25 dihydroxycholecalciferol1-Day1-deamino-8-d-arginine vasopressin13-cis-retinoic acid2'-deoxycoformycin2-amino-6-mercaptopurine2-amino-6-trifluoromethoxy-benzothiazole2-Cd A2-chlorodeoxyadenosine2-PAM2-propylpentanoic acid2-propylvaleric acid2-pyridine aldoxime methochloride292 MEP311C903M Avagard (Discontinued)3M Cavilon Skin Cleanser3TC4-demethoxydaunorubicin4-dmdr4-hydroxybutyrate4-methylpyrazole4-MP4-Way Longcting40 Winks (Discontinued)5-aminosalicyliccid5-ASA5-FC5-fluorouracil5-flurocytosine5-formyl tetrahydrofolate5-FU6-mercaptopurine6-MP6-TG6-thioguanine642 Tablet8-arginine vasopressin8-MOP9-beta-D-ribofuranosyladenine9a-fluorohydrocortisonea-2-interferon A-200A-Caro-25A-Hydro Cort A-methapred A-Spas (Discontinued)A. a guy told me he had bars today and I asked him what mg they were. He responded 4mg and I was immediately confused because i know the largest amount they come in are 3mg. I questioned him on what he meant by 4mg bars and he told me that "they were white and its 1mg pressed to log ether so its 4mg in the bar" what the fuck is this kid talking about and is it worth the risk at all? Ive been dry on xanax ever since I moved away from home some im very desperate. Any idea on what the fuck this kid is talking about? And I've had the same thing happen to me before, I was told I was buying 4mg 'hand pressed bars'. To me they felt like regular 2mg bars, so if they're priced more than regular bars I wouldn't buy them. Also, the 'hand pressed bars' I've tried never actually felt like xanax but maybe some other RC benzodiazepine like etizolam or something. It's real xans its just pressed" I have no clue what this kid is talking about but my anxiety is getting the better of me If it is "hand pressed" the chances that it is real alprazolam may not be too great.
